Job summary

Colorado Department of Human Services seeks a Psychologist II for CMHH-FL in Fort Logan to lead clinical services for adults with severe mental illness. You will perform individual, group, and family therapy, develop tailored behavioral plans, and supervise staff.

You contribute to treatment planning, provide training, and collaborate across hospital departments. You will document assessments and therapy in the electronic health record, supervise doctoral students, and support program

Qualifications

• Current, valid licensure as a Psychologist from the Colorado State Board of Psychologist Examiners
• Three years of licensed psychologist experience, two at the level of a fully operating psychologist
• Preferred qualifications include forensic psychology background and supervisory experience

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy as required and directed by treatment plans
• Develop and lead group materials and psychoeducation for milieu staff
• Monitor and document treatment plans in the electronic health record
• Provide clinical leadership, supervision, and training to interns and doctoral externs
• Collaborate with treatment teams and external stakeholders on civil and forensic matters
