Job summary

State of Colorado seeks a Psychologist Candidate to work at the Colorado Mental Health Hospital at Fort Logan, providing individual, group, and family therapy under licensed supervision. You will develop patient-specific treatment plans and behavior programs for individuals with complex needs.

Responsibilities include documentation in the electronic health record, staff training, and participation in hospital-wide initiatives while pursuing licensure within 1.5 years.

Qualifications

• Current, valid Psychologist Candidate license from the Colorado State Board of Psychologist Examiners.
• Experience with inpatient, forensic, or SPMI populations preferred.
• Ability to work under supervision and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy under supervision.
• Develop group materials and tailor interventions for patient needs.
• Document progress in the electronic health record and provide feedback to the treatment team.
• Lead seminars, co-facilitation, and mentor doctoral externs and interns.
• Participate in treatment planning, clinical goals, and cross-team consultations.
