Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) seeks a skilled Forensic Services Coordinator to join the Office of Forensic Services and Coordination. This role advances forensic waitlist initiatives, assists county programs, and collaborates with state hospitals and community partners.

The position requires a Master's degree in a related field and licensure (LMSW/LCSW/LPC) with at least one year of forensic mental health experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in forensic mental health.
• Professional licensure required: LMSW, LCSW, or LPC.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced consultative services and technical assistance to support the forensic waitlist and OFSC programs.
• Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders and prepare guidance on barriers and program questions.
• Develop, document, and analyze program data; prepare progress reports and recommendations.
• Develop policies, procedures, and standards aligned with contracts and objectives.
• Monitor and report on program operations, activities, and outcomes.
