Qualifications

• BSN required; MSN preferred.
• Texas license to practice nursing.
• Complete Pediatric SANE certification within 1 year of hire.
• BLS (American Heart) required.

Responsibilities

• Assesses and implements the educational needs of the department and community.
• Provides education and resources for staff, patients, families and community.
• Delivers patient care as a Forensic Nurse Examiner.
• Performs daily clinical duties with good customer relations and sound clinical judgement.
• Rotating shift including nights, weekends and holidays.
