Eligibility requires an RN with either an Associates or Bachelor's degree, completion of SANE/Forensic Nurse Examiner training, and at least 1 year of acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Education: Associates or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Certification/Licensure: Completion of Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner or Forensic Nurse Examiner training program.
• Experience: At least 1 year of acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality and cost effective care to forensic patients.
• Maintain an atmosphere of positive group dynamics to promote patient, hospital, and community satisfaction with services provided.
• Promote professional growth and development of the Forensic Nursing program on a continuous basis.
