Sentara RMH Medical Center in Harrisonburg, VA is hiring a Forensic Nurse Examiner. You will provide high-quality care to forensic patients, promote a positive team environment, and support ongoing growth of the forensic nursing program.

Eligibility requires an RN with either an Associates or Bachelor's degree, completion of SANE/Forensic Nurse Examiner training, and at least 1 year of acute care experience.

Overview

Sentara RMH Medical Center is now hiring a Forensic Nurse Examiner. Forensic Nurse Examiners ensure high quality and cost effective care to all forensic patients. Our FNEs maintain an atmosphere of positive group dynamics to promote patient, hospital, and community satisfaction with services provided, as well as promote professional growth and development of the Forensic Nursing program on a continuous basis.

Eligibility and Requirements

• Education Associates or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (Required)
• Certification/Licensure Completion of Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner or Forensic Nurse Examiner training program(Required)
• Experience At least 1 year of acute care experience (required)

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $44.53 - $64.80 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
