Registered Nurse position at the St. Louis Forensic Treatment Center - South, 5300 Arsenal St., St. Louis, MO 63139. This 12-hour shift role supports mental health services and involves mentoring psychiatric staff, nursing rounds, and care plan coordination.

Qualifications

• Professional nursing theory and standards knowledge.
• Ability to supervise, educate and guide nursing staff.
• Current license to practice as an RN in Missouri or Nurse Licensure Compact.
• Academic qualifications as described (MSN/BSN/ADN with experience).

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and administer medications as prescribed.
• Lead nursing team as charge nurse on unit or cottage.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans; coordinate rounds and status updates.
• Supervise and mentor nursing staff and students; ensure policy adherence.
