Job summary

Envista Forensics seeks a Mechanical Engineering intern for Summer 2027. The role provides exposure to forensic and consulting engineering, including research, report writing, site inspections, and milestone projects.

You will be coached by Team Leads and gain access to engineering and core functions. The program runs May 2027 through August 2027, with potential to transition to full-time after graduation.

Qualifications

• Pursuing/holding a Mechanical Engineering degree (3rd/4th year or higher).
• Recent graduates eligible for internship consideration.
• Master's program preferred for advanced projects.

Responsibilities

• Apply engineering fundamentals to research pricing, specs, and repairs.
• Assist in incident investigations: document sites and equipment.
• Collaborate with team to write investigative reports.
• Travel to required locations for inspections or meetings.
• Set up and run test projects; collect and synthesize data.
• Support consultants with marketing and case work as needed.
