Job summary

EFI Global is seeking a Mechanical Engineer, P.E., to lead failure analysis across commercial, residential, and industrial systems. You will apply engineering judgment to complex investigations and provide expert opinions for client projects.

Remote role with travel within a broad region; residency within 150 miles of Charlotte, NC is preferred. Requires BS in Mechanical Engineering and a PE license; multi-state licensing and expert witness experience are pluses.

Qualifications

• Requires BS in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required; multi-state licensing preferred.
• Expert witness testimony experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct failure analyses for commercial, residential, and industrial mechanical systems.
• Provide clear, credible expert opinions to clients based on investigations.
