Job summary

ARCCA, LLC in the Philadelphia area is seeking a Forensic Mechanical Engineer to lead failure analyses and accident reconstruction projects for insurance and legal clients. You will inspect vehicles and equipment, collect data, and apply 3D scanning tools to support investigations.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering, PE licensure, and strong written and verbal communication skills; experience with safety equipment is a plus.

Qualifications

• Masters in Mechanical Engineering is required or considered
• PE licensure in one or more states is required; EI/EIT considered
• Willingness to work in a litigation setting and evaluate cases
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Background in safety equipment knowledge is helpful

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle, site, and evidence inspections utilizing 3D scanning technology and software, conduct testing, and collect data
• Conduct investigations to gather and analyze equipment failures
• Prepare and deliver technical reports and presentations to clients and conferences
• Provide expert testimony as required
• Enhance knowledge through continuing education and technical publications
• Other duties as assigned
