The Oregon State Police Forensic Services Division in Clackamas, Oregon is actively recruiting two full-time, permanent Forensic Lab Specialist — Administrative Specialist 2 positions. These roles are in-office with no remote option.

Qualifications

• Three years of secretarial/administrative support experience coordinating office procedures.
• An associate degree plus two years of related experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate incoming physical evidence and paperwork for policy compliance.
• Determine if requested services fall within the lab's scope.
• Maintain chain of custody and handle hazardous evidence securely.
• Assist law enforcement, attorneys, and the public; support lab staff.
• Work independently with professional judgment in routine and non-routine situations.
