Qualifications

• Degree in accounting or auditing, including 24 semester hours in accounting (up to 6 hours in business law)
• Education must be from accredited institutions and reviewed by a recognized accrediting body
• Foreign education may require evaluation and English translation if applicable

Responsibilities

• Provides advice and assistance to ATF agents and prosecutors on financial findings
• Plans and conducts financial investigations of persons or entities in suspected criminal schemes
• Prepares reports and charts summarizing findings for end users; researches databases for leads; provides training on financial investigative techniques
