This role is located at the Lincoln Regional Center (LRC), an inpatient, 250‑bed, Joint Commission‑accredited state psychiatric hospital run by NE DHHS. The LRC serves people who require highly structured treatment for mental illness. As a Forensic Evaluator, Psychologist, you will be an integral part of our Behavioral Health Division and provide critical care to adult patients. The position involves completing court‑ordered evaluations—competence, insanity, and risk assessments—at LRC. Knowledge of relevant Nebraska statutes and case law is necessary, and the successful candidate will offer court testimony and be qualified as an expert witness in Nebraska. Responsibilities include:
Valid driver's license or ability to provide independent authorized transportation.
$60.00/hour. Provisionally licensed starting pay rate: $55.28/hour.
8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday–Friday with some flexibility.
