Job summary
The Falcon Group in Warren, NJ seeks a Forensic Engineer/Structural Professional Engineer to lead forensic investigations, prepare reports, and provide expert witness testimony for community associations, construction, and claims. You will coordinate inspections, review drawings and codes, perform calculations, mentor junior staff, and manage milestones from kickoff to closeout.
A PE license with four+ years in structural/architectural consulting and a US driver’s license are required; OSHA-10
Qualifications
- Four plus years in architectural/engineering consulting with forensic experience.
- Professional Engineer license required; OSHA 10 preferred.
- Experience as an expert witness and in mentoring junior staff.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert witness testimony in depositions, mediations, or litigation.
- Lead forensic inspections, assess conditions and identify deficiencies.
- Prepare comprehensive field reports with observations and measurements.
- Review drawings, codes, specs, and project manuals for findings.
- Coordinate design calculations and construction documents across projects.
- Manage project milestones, schedules, and client communications.
