Job summary

American Structurepoint, Inc in Nashville, TN is seeking an entry-level Staff Engineer for its Investigative/Forensic Engineering Group. You will spend time working both in the field and in the office—investigating damaged buildings, assessing structural conditions, and designing repair solutions with licensed engineers and architects.

You’ll use AutoCAD and Revit to create drawings and models, contribute to technical reports, and gain mentorship and training as you build a rewarding career

Qualifications

• Recent graduate or soon-to-be graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited program.
• Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit is preferred.
• FE Certification (E.I.T.) or working towards it is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for transportation to and from the office or project sites.
• Strong work ethic and a growth mindset—you’re eager to learn and take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Join senior engineers on forensic investigations to determine damage or deterioration.
• Help design repair or restoration solutions for structures made of wood, masonry, concrete, and steel.
• Contribute to technical reports that document findings and support project decisions.
• Use AutoCAD and/or Revit to create digital drawings and 3D models.
• Other tasks as needed to support the team.
