Job summary

Rimkus, a worldwide leader in engineering and forensic consulting, seeks an Electrical Engineer to analyze electrical failures for insurance, legal, and industrial clients. You will prepare oral and written reports, provide expert testimony when needed, and manage multiple projects while coordinating with other experts. Requires B.S. in EE, a PE license, 2–10+ years' experience, and travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• B.S. Electrical Engineering required.
• P.E. license is required.
• 2-10+ years of experience.
• Field experience is highly preferred.
• Depending on location, other licenses or certifications may be required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Performs investigation and analysis in electrical engineering to resolve claims and legal matters.
• Field investigations: determine cause/origin of electrical failures.
• Prepare oral and written reports; provide opinions and expert testimony when needed.
• Manage multiple projects and coordinate with other experts to produce client reports.
• Follow Rimkus policies and safety requirements.
• Use electrical engineering equations and tools to perform analysis.
