Qualifications

• Minimum of three years as a Forensic Drug Chemist in an ISO/IEC 17025 laboratory.
• Completion of a formal documented casework training program in forensic drug analysis.
• Knowledge of instrumentation and methodologies for analyzing controlled substances (Color Tests, GC, GC/MS, FTIR) and related microscopy.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical assistance to law enforcement in analyzing controlled substances.
• Manage receipt, tracking, and secure storage of drug case samples per chain of custody.
