Rimkus Consulting Group in Indianapolis is seeking a Civil Engineer to provide forensic consulting across insurance, legal, industrial clients. You will assess causes of failures, prepare findings, and support expert testimony.

The role requires a B.S. in Civil Engineering, a P.E. license or ability to obtain quickly, and 2–10+ years of experience. You will manage multiple projects and coordinate with clients and experts.

Qualifications

• B.S. Civil Engineering degree or higher.
• P.E. license in the state of employment or the ability to obtain it quickly.
• 2-10+ years of experience.
• Project Management and/or Field Investigation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs investigation and analysis of properties for resolution of legal matters and claims.
• Performs forensic assignments within civil engineering and construction expertise with client scope and budget.
• Field Investigations: determine cause/origin of defects or damage and document findings.
• Prepare oral and written reports and provide expert testimony when needed.
• Manages multiple projects and coordinates with other experts to produce client reports.
• Ensures safety diligence on the project during completion.
• Develop and maintain mutually beneficial client relationships.
