Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related healthcare field is required.
• 2 years of experience in a mental health/psychiatric or social service setting is required.
• 1 year in forensic mental health setting preferred.
• 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to review statutes, administrative rules, and hospital policies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate admissions, evaluations, court proceedings, and discharge between FMHF and the community.
• Serve as supervisor for Ward Clerks and ensure timely information to hospital staff.
• Maintain working relationships with staff, patients, families, and other mental health providers.
• Demonstrate effective interviewing and information-gathering techniques.
• Prioritize work with excellent time management.
