Job summary

Westchester Medical Center Health Network seeks a Team Coordinator for the Forensic Acute Care Team (FACT). You will coordinate staff and on-call schedules for forensic examiner nurses, ensuring compliance with state and federal requirements and hospital policies across the Valhalla and MidHudson sites.

Fostering relations with victims’ advocacy programs, law enforcement, and community partners, you will drive performance improvement and maintain program materials and documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of RN experience.
• BSN is required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Active NY RN license; DOH NY-SAFE certification or requirement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate staff and on-call schedules for FACT nurses.
• Maintain policy and procedures for the FACT Program and ensure compliance with DOH and hospital policies.
• Foster relationships with victims’ advocacy programs, law enforcement, and community partners.
• Initiate performance improvement and participation in quality metrics for FACT and related programs.
• Validate payroll and prepare invoices for FACT Examiners bi-monthly (on-call, backup on-call, per-case, administrator, associate director).
• Attend staff meetings and participate in Child Protection Committee meetings.
• Maintain examiner schedules and contracts; ensure program funding compliance and documentation.
