Job summary

Ankura is seeking a University Intern in Dallas to explore the Forensic Accounting and Claims Consulting practice. You will work on a variety of projects with engagement teams from Associate to Director levels, gaining hands-on experience in client work and data analysis.

During the internship you will design financial models, analyze damages, and support the preparation of claim renewals while developing professional skills in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Strong computer and data management skills (Excel, Access and Microsoft Word).
• Demonstrate attention to detail and strong organizational/time management skills.
• Ability to prioritize and work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to quality and teamwork.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with designing financial and accounting models for loss scenarios such as business interruption and property losses.
• Support preparation of annual renewal values and claim data analyses.
• Analyze financial statements and related documentation.
• Develop sensitivities related to loss measurements.
• Assist in reconciling claim amounts with accounting systems and insurers’ calculations.
• Collaborate on multiple engagements with varying project size.
