Job summary

Trawick Construction Company, LLC is hiring a Foreman for our Telecom Underground team in Live Oak, FL. You will lead crews, read blueprints, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while meeting project timelines.

Requirements include at least three years of related experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work in all weather conditions. Foreman experience preferred; 18+ and US work authorization required.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews to meet project timelines
• Assist with crew training

• Assist Supervisor with day-to-day activities
• Talk with property owners about work and resolve issues
• Safely operate heavy equipment and machinery
• Perform in all weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned

What you’ll do

• Lead crews to meet project timelines
• Help with training of crew members
• Read and understand blueprints
• Help ensure everyone is following company safety policies, OSHA, and DOT regulations
• Assist Supervisor with day to day activities
• Speak with property owners about work to be performed and resolve any issues
• Safely use heavy equipment and machinery
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned

What you’ll need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• A valid driver’s license
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, relevant work experience, or a combination of education and work experience preferred
• At least three years of related work experience
• Previous Foreman experience preferred

Physical abilities & exposures

• Routinely: work alone in remote locations and in confined spaces with arms above shoulder level, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift greater than 55 pounds
• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse
