Job summary

Join Niels Fugal Sons Company, LLC as a Foreman on our Telecom Underground team, where you'll lead crews through installation and maintenance of underground telecommunications systems.

You will ensure safety, read blueprints, coordinate with property owners, and support the supervisor to keep projects on schedule in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States for this company.
• Valid driver's license required.
• High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent work experience.
• At least three years of related work experience.
• Foreman experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews to meet project timelines.
• Assist training of crew members.
• Read and understand blueprints.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, OSHA and DOT.
• Assist supervisor with day-to-day activities.
• Communicate with property owners about work and resolve issues.
• Safely operate heavy equipment and machinery.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.

At Niels Fugal Sons Company, LLC, as a Foreman on our Telecom Underground team, you’ll lead crews in the installation and maintenance of underground telecommunication systems. You’ll ensure everyone is following safety protocols and project timelines.

What you’ll do

• Lead crews to meet project timelines
• Help with training of crew members
• Read and understand blueprints
• Help ensure everyone is following company safety policies, OSHA, and DOT regulations
• Assist Supervisor with day to day activities
• Speak with property owners about work to be performed and resolve any issues
• Safely use heavy equipment and machinery
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned

What you’ll need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• A valid driver’s license
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, relevant work experience, or a combination of education and work experience preferred
• At least three years of related work experience
• Previous Foreman experience preferred

Physical abilities & exposures

• Routinely: work alone in remote locations and in confined spaces with arms above shoulder level, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift greater than 55 pounds
• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse
