Job summary

Trawick Construction Company, LLC seeks a Telecom Aerial Foreman to lead installation and maintenance of aerial telecom systems. You will serve as the on-site expert, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while guiding less experienced teammates.

Role requires climbing, driving, and travel for storm response; you will oversee crews, document productivity, and uphold safety standards across assignments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
• Valid state driver's license with acceptable driving record
• DOT medical card
• 3+ years of related work experience
• Pole climber certification or willingness to become certified
• CDL Class A preferred

Responsibilities

• Ensure successful installation of fiber/telecom cables, materials, or support structures according to codes and customer requirements
• Safely operate bucket truck, digger derrick, excavators
• Maintain safe work areas and manage traffic flow on site
• Work at heights using climbing hooks and ladders
• Use hand and power tools (wrenches, drills, saws) safely
• Provide guidance and support to others as needed
• Travel for storm response on short notice
• Complete daily work orders and crew checks for productivity and safety

What You'll Do

• Ensure successful installation of fiber/telecom cables, materials, or support structures according to relevant codes, regulations, and customer requirements.

What You'll Need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
• Valid state driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical exam, resulting in a valid medical card
• At least 3 years of related work experience
• To be a certified pole climber or be willing to become certified
• CDL Class "A" driver license is preferred

Physical Abilities & Exposures

• Routinely: work with arms above shoulder level, at heights in confined spaces and alone in remote locations, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, use ladder, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift objects greater than 55 pounds
• Occasionally: use keyboard and mouse
