Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience working with aerial/buried/underground electrical lines.
  • Valid Driver's License with 2+ years of driving experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and train crew while adhering to safety procedures.
  • Complete work orders under supervisor’s direction and customer specifications.
  • Accountable for tools, equipment, and safety in the work area.

As a Foreman Aerial Crew, you will perform duties related to installing and repairing aerial telecommunications cables and ensure the scope of work performed meets the standards required by customers.

What you'll do...

  1. Prioritize and plan work activities, using time efficiently
  2. Lead and train crew while adhering to all safety procedures
  3. Follow production procedures, accurately track and submit daily reports and paperwork
  4. Complete work orders under supervisor’s direction and customer specifications, completing tasks on time or notifying the appropriate person with an alternate plan
  5. Be accountable for issued truck, trailer, tools, signs, cones, and other equipment
  6. Safely identify utilities in the work area and recognize electrical and other safety hazards
  7. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, standards, guidelines, and requirements
  8. Ensure completion of work responsibilities and special projects within the designated timeframe
  9. Uphold company ethical standards, demonstrating integrity in all professional and personal matters
  10. Perform all other duties as assigned

Who we are looking for...

  • You are at least 18 years old
  • You are authorized to work in the United States
  • You have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • You possess a valid standard Driver's License with at least 2 years of driving experience or a Class A Commercial Driver's License
  • You have 3 years of related experience working with aerial/buried/underground energized electrical lines
  • You are experienced in reading engineering drawings and site plans
  • You are knowledgeable about DOT and OSHA regulations
  • You are experienced in operating and maintaining heavy equipment
  • You are familiar with bucket truck operation and able to climb telephone poles
