Job summary

TelCom Construction, LLC. is seeking an Equipment Foreman to lead telecom construction crews, ensure projects stay on schedule, and manage equipment and materials for a safe, productive site.

You will supervise day-to-day activities and help train crew members while upholding safety policies and DOT regulations. Ideal candidates have at least three years of related experience, a valid driver's license, and a High School Diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Three years of related experience preferred.
• Foreman experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews to meet project timelines.
• Safely operate and control assigned equipment.
• Assist the Supervisor with day-to-day activities and provide updates as needed.
• Oversee and help with training of crew members.
• Help ensure everyone is following company safety policies, OSHA, and DOT regulations.
• Maintain production notes & DOT paperwork.
• Operate heavy equipment and machinery, complete maintenance.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• All other duties as assigned.

What you’ll do

What you’ll need

• To be 18 years of age or older

• Authorization to work in the United States for this company

• A valid driver’s license

• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, relevant work experience, or a combination of education and work experience preferred

• At least three years of related experience

• Previous Foreman experience preferred

Physical abilities & exposures

• Routinely : work alone in remote locations with arms above shoulder level, work at heights & in confined spaces, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, lift greater than 55 pounds

• Occasionally : use ladder, keyboard and mouse

The wage range for Foreman TelCom Construction Equipment is $30.00 - $40.00.
