Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Plumbing Foreman or in a similar leadership role.
• Extensive knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team.
• Hands-on problem-solving approach to technical issues.
• Reading blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of mechanical field employees, assigning tasks and ensuring efficiency.
• Plan, prioritize, and schedule plumbing projects with proper resource allocation.
• Coordinate plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance with project managers and contractors.
• Conduct on-site inspections to ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Read blueprints and determine project requirements for plumbing systems.
• Order and manage inventory of plumbing materials, equipment, and tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve leaks, blockages, and other issues.
• Maintain records of labor, materials, and progress; prepare reports.
• Mentor and train junior plumbers for professional development.
• Other duties as assigned by the Company.

Roles and Responsibilities

The job duties and responsibilities of this position will include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Supervise and lead a team of mechanical field employees, including assigning tasks, providing guidance and support, and ensuring work is carried out efficiently and effectively.
• Plan, prioritize, and schedule plumbing projects, ensuring resources are allocated appropriately and deadlines are met.
• Collaborate with project managers and other contractors to coordinate plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Conduct on-site inspections to ensure compliance with plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements and plan plumbing systems accordingly.
• Order and manage the inventory of plumbing materials, equipment, and tools needed to complete projects.
• Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues, including leaks, blockages, and other malfunctions.
• Keep accurate records of labor, materials, and project progress, and prepare reports as required.
• Mentor and train junior plumbers, providing guidance on best practices and promoting professional development.
• Other such duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Company from time to time.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Proven experience as a Plumbing Foreman or similar leadership role in the plumbing industry.
• Extensive knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team of mechanical field employees effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a hands-on approach to resolving technical issues.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with project managers, contractors, and team members.
• OSHA 30 Preferred
• Physical stamina and the ability to work in various environments, including tight spaces and elevated areas, utilizing ladders and mobile personnel platforms (scissor lifts, boom lifts).
• Ability to safely use plumbing tools (e.g., saws, drills, grinders)
