Job summary

ARMI in Lafayette, GA is seeking a Foreman - Piping to lead a crew in process and utility piping projects. You’ll set the pace, manage daily work plans with staged materials, and ensure safety and quality on site.

Role requires hands-on piping experience, ability to read blueprints, and travel across coast-to-coast projects. The position offers competitive hourly pay, quarterly incentives, and strong benefits for field staff.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on piping construction experience.
• Proven ability to lead a small field crew.
• Strong knowledge of pipe systems, welding, fittings, and safety.
• Experience with Procore or similar PM software.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred – OSHA 30 a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel coast to coast.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

THE ROLE

As a Foreman, you are a working leader — tools in hand, setting the production pace for your crew of up to four tradesmen. You execute the work plan defined by the Superintendent, keep your crew productive every shift, and flag problems before they cost hours.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

• Work alongside your crew every day — lead by example
• Execute the daily work plan with precision: staged materials, clear shift targets, zero idle time
• Write daily action plans with drawings or isometric sketches of the work to be performed
• Set shift targets and communicate exactly what done looks like to every tradesman before the day starts
• Track installed quantities, approve time daily, and report progress to the Superintendent
• Keep the jobsite clean, organized, and staged — tools and materials at the work area
• Conduct toolbox talks and enforce all safety standards
• Operate machinery, including forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts, to facilitate the movement and installation of equipment.
• Flag bottlenecks to the Superintendent early — bring a proposed solution, not just the problem

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 3+ years of verifiable hands-on experience in process and utility piping construction
• Proven track recordleading a small crew in a field setting
• Strong working knowledge of pipe systems, welding, fitting, and field safety
• Experience with Procore or similar project management software
• Strong technical knowledge of process systems, FDA, USDA, 3-A sanitary welding, and industrial installations a plus
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• OSHA 10 certification preferred – OSHA 30 a plus
• Travel required – projects are coast to coast and vary in duration
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays based on project needs
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check

Base hourly pay + automatic time and a half over 40 hours + time and a half every Saturday + double time every Sunday. Work a holiday? You receive your full 8-hour holiday pay plus double time for every hour on the job. Our people in the field out-earn the market — the weekly check proves it.
