Job Details

Title: Foreman - Pipefitter

Reports to: Superintendent

Job Duties / General Requirements

Pipefitter Foreman will report directly to the Superintendent and will be responsible for leading and managing a team of Pipefitters to deliver exceptional quality and customer service to our clients. The Pipefitter Foreman will work closely with the Superintendent to understand the company's goals and lead their team to generate profits.

• Develop solutions to prevent issues from becoming problems.
• Review projects with the Superintendent and/or Project Manager after equipment and subcontractors are involved. Conduct physical surveys of projects with the Superintendent and report findings in writing to the Project Manager if required.
• Perform takeoffs for projects in a timely and thorough manner with the Superintendent.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise on-site functions including scheduling, material control, and rentals.
• Provide daily updates on job completion percentages.
• Ensure all site personnel comply with project procedures, safety requirements, and company policies. Document incidents and notify the Project Manager and Superintendent. Recommend and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure all jobs have weekly reports, including safety/toolbox talks, preconstruction, weekly production, and project-specific reports, submitted on time.
• Conduct inspections, ensure jobs meet Pueblo Mechanical standards, and participate in start-ups and coordination with contractors, engineers, subcontractors, and owners as needed.
• Coordinate with the shop for production scheduling and deliveries.
• Require 4+ years of experience; journeyman status or ability to obtain a license.
• Ability to read blueprints and prepare materials lists.
• Work to increase team efficiency and uphold high safety standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated, punctual, and professional in appearance and speech.
• Ability to multi-task, follow up effectively, and work in physically demanding environments, including lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, lifting, standing, walking on uneven terrain, and climbing ladders.
