Job summary

Michels Utility Services, Inc. is seeking a Foreman in Eldora, IA to lead field teams on natural gas distribution projects. You will work closely with project management, subcontractors, and vendors to keep schedules current and plan work activities.

Your role includes coordinating labor, equipment, and material to execute the work as planned, while upholding safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of related experience, a valid driver’s license for the vehicles involved,

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of related experience and/or training.
• A valid driver's license for the type(s) of vehicles you may be driving and an acceptable driving record.
• Willingness to work under a union collective bargaining agreement.
• Ability to travel.

As a Foreman, your key responsibilities will be to collaborate with project management, project personnel, subcontractors, and vendors to update schedule, and plan work activities as necessary. In addition, you will coordinate and schedule assignments of labor, equipment, and material to perform the work as planned. Critical for success are strong verbal communication skills, the ability to comprehend and follow company and customer policies, and to act as a positive role model.
