Job summary

The Tepa Companies are seeking Mechanical Foremen to supervise crews on field construction projects involving aboveground storage tanks and mechanical fuel systems. This role offers the opportunity to travel extensively across the United States, working on challenging and rewarding projects.

Ideal candidates will have strong leadership skills, significant pipe fitting and welding experience, and a commitment to safety and quality. Per diem is provided along with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• 5+ years of pipe fitting experience
• Ability to pass weld test (SMAW/FCAW in all positions)
• Ability to fit structural plate and piping
• Working knowledge of AWS, API, ANSI, and ASME codes and standards
• Experience in petroleum system construction/repair
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and written instructions
• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
• Physical dexterity and ability to work in elevated areas
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to obtain a TWIC card
• Ability to obtain and maintain access to U.S. military installations (drug screen and background check required)
• Willingness to travel frequently
