Job summary

A leading construction materials producer in Cheyenne, WY is seeking a Grading Foreman to oversee grading operations. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of grading experience, supervisory skills, and proficiency in GPS system operation. Responsibilities include ensuring safety and quality compliance, coordinating with subcontractors, and performing additional assigned duties. Knife River Cheyenne, WY is looking for a Grading Foreman to join our team!

Job Summary

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of Grading operations.
• Efficient at multi-tasking and working under short time constraints.
• Assure that all Knife River Safety and Quality measures are met.
• Coordinate with others including Subcontractors, Trucking and Aggregate Plant.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

This is considered a full-time seasonal position. Travel may be required and working in extreme weather conditions should be expected.

Minimum Qualifications

• 3 + years of proven Grading experience is required.
• Supervisory and Strong communication skills (verbal and written) as well as basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of all grading and paving equipment and operations.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Strong commitment to quality, safety and customer satisfaction.
• Reading and understanding plans.
• Know how to set up and run GPS systems.
• Finish blading with GPS controls.
