Job description

Role Overview:

Knife River is looking for a Grading Foreman to join our team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all aspects of grading operations.
2. Efficient at multi-tasking and working under short time constraints.
3. Ensure all safety and quality measures are followed.
4. Coordinate with subcontractors, trucking, and plant operations.
5. Perform other duties as assigned.

This is a full-time seasonal position. Travel will be required, and working in extreme weather conditions should be expected.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. 3+ years of proven grading experience.
2. Supervisory and strong communication skills (verbal and written), as well as basic computer skills.
3. Knowledge of grading and paving equipment and operations.
4. Valid Idaho driver's license with a clean driving record.
5. Strong commitment to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
6. Ability to read and understand plans.
7. Knowledge of setting up and running GPS systems.
8. Experience with finish blading using GPS controls.
