Job summary

Miller Pipeline is hiring a foreman to support repair, maintenance, construction, installation, and reconditioning of natural gas distribution pipelines. You will lead the crew, plan daily activities, troubleshoot equipment, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, DOT physical, and 3+ years of pipeline field work. Strong leadership and customer communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current driver’s license with a good driving record.
• DOT medical card or ability to obtain one is required.
• Proficiency with hand tools used on-site.
• Ability to interact professionally with the public and co-workers.
• Must be willing to travel in the area.
• 3+ years of pipeline field work experience.

Responsibilities

• Guide the crew toward goal achievement.
• Plan, organize, and delegate daily work activities among crew.
• Identify problems and implement solutions.
• Enforce company policies and standard procedures.
• Troubleshoot and repair minor equipment issues.
• Ensure preventive maintenance is performed.
• Communicate time worked, safety and productivity metrics, and incidents to supervision.
• Handle minor customer inquiries and escalate when needed.
• Ensure work quality meets standards.

We are searching for qualified foreman to assist in the repair, maintenance, construction, installation and reconditioning of natural gas distribution pipelines.

Main Responsibilities:

• Guide the crew towards goal achievement.


• Plan, organize and delegate the daily work activities among crew members.


• Identify potential problems; develop and implement solutions.


• Enforce Company policies and standard work procedures.


• Troubleshoot and repair minor equipment problems.


• Ensure preventive maintenance of equipment is assigned to, and completed by, the crew.


• Communicate with support staff regarding time worked, safety and productivity measures, accidents and injuries, and property or vehicle damage, for proper handling and tracking of these activities. Complete daily data entry.


• Handle minor customer complaints and inquiries. Escalate issues to the superintendent or general foreman, if necessary.


• Ensure that the overall quality of work performed by the crew meets or exceeds standards and expectations.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent


• Current driver’s license with good driving record


• Current DOT physical or ability to obtain one


• Professional or personal use of hand tools


• Interact effectively and professionally with the public, customers, co-workers, and supervisors


• Travel throughout the area and respond to emergency situations


• 3+ years pipeline field work

Preferred Qualifications:

• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)


• 3+ years field work experience at Miller Pipeline.
