Job summary

Miller Pipeline is seeking qualified foremen to support repair, maintenance, construction, installation and reconditioning of natural gas distribution pipelines. You will guide a crew, plan daily work, and ensure safety and quality while maintaining equipment and documenting time and outcomes.

The role emphasizes teamwork, on-the-job training, strong emergency response, and adherence to company policies. This is a field position focused on infrastructure projects and customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current driver’s license with good driving record.
• Current DOT physical or ability to obtain one.
• Professional or personal use of hand tools.
• Interact effectively and professionally with the public, customers, co-workers, and supervisors.
• Travel throughout the area and respond to emergency situations.
• 3+ years pipeline field work.

Responsibilities

• Guide the crew towards goal achievement.
• Plan, organize and delegate the daily work activities among crew members.
• Identify potential problems; develop and implement solutions.
• Enforce Company policies and standard work procedures.
• Troubleshoot and repair minor equipment problems.
• Ensure preventive maintenance of equipment is assigned to, and completed by, the crew.
• Communicate with support staff regarding time worked, safety and productivity measures, accidents and injuries, and property or vehicle damage, for proper handling and tracking of these activities.
• Handle minor customer complaints and inquiries. Escalate issues to the superintendent or general foreman, if necessary.
• Ensure that the overall quality of work performed by the crew meets or exceeds standards and expectations.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent


• Current driver’s license with good driving record


• Current DOT physical or ability to obtain one

Preferred Qualifications:

• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)


• 3+ years field work experience at Miller Pipeline.
