We work on a variety of substation projects and support much of the area’s electrical infrastructure. We also work on other commercial projects throughout western New York.Job Summary: This position is responsible for leading others in the delivery of Industrial Electric projects. The focus will be on electric utility substations and natural gas stations.Reports to: Division ManagerEssential Functions:

• Works with project managers to plan and execute jobs
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to determine how on-site work should be executed
• Assemble materials and equipment required for jobs assigned and requisitions materials as needed
• Leads electricians in the execution of work; ensure safe work practices and a high level of workmanship
• Provides encouragement, feedback and direction to team members on the job site
• Identify and diagnose problems
• Complete detailed work orders and maintain accurate records
• Adhere to all safety regulations and lock-out/tag-out procedures, as well as adhering to customer specific standards.
• Works along team members to deliver work as required

Education & Experience:

• A minimum of 10 years of related electrician experience.
• High school diploma or GED

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Effective communication skills.
• Strong math aptitude.

• Conduit bending (both power and hand bending)

Compensation:

• $40.00 to $50.00 per hour based on experience
