Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. - DBA IES Electrical in Lithia Springs, Georgia is hiring a full-time commercial Electrical Foreman to supervise craft workers, interpret blueprints, plan labor, and ensure safety and quality on projects. Travel may be required.

Visa sponsorship is not offered. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States. A State Electrical License is strongly preferred; OSHA 30 or the ability to obtain it, and successful completion of pre-employment background and MVR checks

Qualifications

• Minimum 6–10 years recent commercial electrician experience or related experience.
• State Electrical License strongly preferred.
• OSHA 30 or ability to obtain.
• Successfully pass pre-employment background check, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates activities of assigned craft workers, plans labor requirements.
• Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders as needed for area of supervision.
• Confirms completion & documentation of project safety activities reporting (Daily/Weekly/Monthly).
• Inspects quality and quantity of finished work to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Interprets company policies to workers enforcing safety regulations, and proper care for tools and equipment.
• Analyzes and resolves work problems.
• Complies with all company and customer safety policies and procedures.
• Travel may be required.
