Job summary

METLEN Energy & Metals in Georgia is seeking an Electrical Foreman to join the Grid & Digital Solutions division for a high-voltage substation project in Lajanuri, GA. You will supervise electricians and subcontractors, ensure safety and quality, and coordinate with other trades to keep the project on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Check the readiness and safety compliance of each work area prior to commencing electrical installation activities.
• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of electricians and subcontractors to ensure efficient workflow.
• Monitor the progress of electrical systems installation and identify deviations from plans, specifications, or schedules.
• Ensure electrical works meet highest standards of quality and project requirements.
• Coordinate with other trades and site management to prevent conflicts and delays.
• Assist in planning daily and weekly work schedules based on timelines and resources.
• Maintain records of work performed, materials used, and report progress to Site Manager.
• Promote and enforce a strong safety culture on site with health and safety regulations.

We are currently looking for anElectrical Foremanto join your Grid & Digital Solutions department as part of the Thermal Power & HVDC division of Metlen, for the construction of a high-voltage subsation based in Lajanuri, Georgia.

Your role will encompass:

• Check the readiness and safety compliance of each work area prior to commencing electrical installation activities.
• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of electricians and subcontractors to ensure efficient workflow.

What you bring to the role:

• Diploma or technical certification in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience , preferably as an Electrical Foreman in energy/construction sector.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and codes.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documents.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
