Job summary

T5 Data Centers is seeking an experienced electrical foreman to lead a crew of journeymen and apprentices at our Denton facility. The role covers lighting PMs, battery testing, rack moves, and decommissioning, with oversight of electrical panel schedules and related retrofits.

The ideal candidate has at least five years in the trade, holds an unlimited electrical license, and has formal vocational training. The job requires both indoor and outdoor work with physical endurance.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in the electrical trade.
• Licensed as unlimited electrical contractor.
• Formal vocational training in fundamentals of the trade.
• Ability to work inside and outside, lift at least 60 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Manage a crew of journeyman and apprentices.
• Perform lighting PMs and battery PMs.
• Rack moves, deployments, and decommissioning.
• Create and maintain electrical panel schedules and retros.
• Inverter testing on battery backups for lights.
• Schedule teams and requisition materials.
• Support electrical projects and site safety requirements.

• The Foreman should be an outside linemen, inside wiremen, installer technician, electrician, or Master Electrician who has been engaged at the trade for at least five (5) years.
• Manage a crew of journeyman and apprentices
• Lighting PMs
• Battery PMs
• Rack moves, deployments, and decommissioning
• Security gate repair
• Inverter testing on battery backups for lights
• Team scheduling and material requisition
• Receptacle panel installations and retrofits
• MTS board validations, actuation, and installation
• Electrical Panel Schedules
• Spill Prevention kits for Generators, Substations, etc.
• Heat trace annual testing and installation/retrofits
• Electrical project support
• Willpower issues (Nonscheduled, high priority work); Usually DC floor related issues related to cooling
• At least five (5) years of experience in the trade
• Unlimited Electrical or Contractor's license (required)
• Formal training in approved vocational schools in the fundamentals of the trade
