IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical, a subsidiary of IES Holdings, Inc. (IES) — is seeking a full-time commercial Electrical Foreman in Chester, Virginia.

You will supervise craft workers, read blueprints, and ensure safety, quality, and on-site coordination on projects. Travel may be required. A state electrical license is preferred, with OSHA 30 certification or ability to obtain, and background/MVR checks as applicable.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of commercial electrician experience.
• State Electrical License strongly preferred.
• OSHA 30 certification or ability to obtain.
• Pre-employment background check and MVR check as required.

Responsabilités

• Supervises and coordinates activities of assigned craft workers, plans labor requirements.
• Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders as needed for area of supervision.
• Confirms completion and documentation of project safety activities reporting (Daily/Weekly/Monthly).
• Inspects quality and quantity of finished work to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Interprets company policies to workers, enforcing safety regulations and proper tool/equipment care.
• Analyzes and resolves work problems.
• Complies with all company and customer safety policies and procedures.
• Travel may be required.

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship or work authorization support. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without current or future need for employer sponsorship.

• State Electrical License strongly preferred.
• OSHA 30 or ability to obtain.
• Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.
