Job summary

Prince Contracting, LLC is seeking a supervision professional to lead field crews on heavy highway projects in Florida. You will ensure safety, communicate Prince safety policies, and coordinate daily activities to meet production goals.

Responsibilities include evaluating crew competency, resolving issues, and maintaining schedules with timely reporting. This role requires outdoor work in Florida conditions and a valid Florida driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must possess three to five years in heavy highway construction and understand grade, slope, drainage objectives.
• Ability to read drawings and interpret specifications for the project.
• Strong scheduling and planning knowledge is required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with problem solving and conflict resolution.
• Excellent time management skills are required.
• Clean Florida driver’s license is essential.

Job Requirements

• Must possess three (3) to five (5) years in heavy highway construction with knowledge of project construction scope and objectives to include, but not limited to grade, slope, reading and understanding plans, and drainage
• Ability to read drawings and interpret specifications for the project
• Must possess a strong knowledge of scheduling and planning
• Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to apply effective problem solving and conflict resolution skills
• Must possess excellent time management skills
• Must possess a clean Florida driver’s license
• Must be able to stand, kneel, walk, lift 60 pounds, bend, stoop, push and pull
• Must be able to work on average ten (10) hours per day, five days (and occasionally six days) per week
• All work is performed outdoors in Florida heat and rain; and around heavy highway traffic areas
