Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of directional drilling experience.
• Valid Driver's license required; Class A CDL preferred.
• Ability to measure distances accurately using tapes or other devices.

Job description

Knowledge of established buried/bore cable installation procedures and techniques. Be familiar with a wide range of tools and equipment, and able to read and understand work orders, safety rules, and operating instructions.

Responsibilities:

• Extensive knowledge of directional drilling operations
• Proficient with drilling equipment, understanding its capabilities and limitations
• Experience with drill setup and design processes
• Ability to develop and maintain a bore schedule
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Safety-conscious and involved in new site Job Safety Analysis (JSA) prior to construction
• Proficient in using locators to identify utilities safely
• Operate directional drills safely on the jobsite
• Restore and landscape disturbed areas of the jobsite
• Demonstrate job skills, procedures, and techniques to crew members
• Responsible for site setup and cleanup

• Strong technical knowledge of directional drilling operations
• Minimum 5 years of directional drilling experience
• Valid Driver's license required; Class A CDL preferred
• Ability to drive company vehicles safely and responsibly
• Ability to meet deadlines under stress
• Highly organized with multitasking ability
