Job summary

Weider Contracting is seeking a hands-on Grade Foreman or Pipe Foreman to lead outdoor crews on site development and heavy civil projects in Virginia. You will plan, execute, and deliver quality earthwork and utilities while maintaining high safety standards and productivity.

The ideal candidate brings proven foreman experience, strong leadership, and the ability to mentor team members. This position requires reliable transportation and good attendance to keep projects moving forward.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Grade Crew or Pipe Foreman in site development or heavy civil work.
• Strong leadership abilities with a high level of safety awareness and organizational skills.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Regular attendance and punctuality are required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the crew to plan, schedule, and execute earthwork and utility installation safely and efficiently.
• Oversee quality control and ensure work is completed to specification and on time.
• Mentor and develop crew members, enforce site safety standards, and model professional conduct.
• Coordinate with supervisors and subcontractors to keep projects on track and within budget.

Compensation:

• Salary Position: Based on competency and skill level.
• Vehicle reimbursement or Company Vehicle and fuel card.
• Accrued paid time off (PTO) at start of employment, and paid holidays after 3 months.
• Employer-sponsored Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefit Plans become available on the first day of the month following 30 days of employment.
