Interstate Sealant & Concrete (ISC) is seeking traveling Foremen to lead crews on roadway and airport construction projects across the U.S. This hands-on leadership role requires coordinating crews, ensuring safety, and maintaining project timelines.

You will travel for out-of-town work, pass pre-employment tests, and interact with project managers, office staff, and clients. ISC offers competitive pay, per diem, hotel stays, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of construction supervisory experience.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Able to obtain and maintain airport/military badge.
• Willing to travel out of state.
• Pass pre-employment physical and drug/alcohol test (random testing).
• Valid driver’s license (must be maintained).
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise crews on active projects.
• Coordinate daily tasks and ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
• Communicate with Project Managers, office staff, and customers.
• Monitor project progress, quality, and schedule adherence.
• Conduct daily crew huddles and set expectations.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company safety standards.
• Complete daily reports, timecards, and equipment documentation.

• Identify and resolve job site issues to keep projects moving.
• Conduct weekly toolbox talks and enforce safety policies.

Job Summary

We are seeking experienced Foremen to lead crews on roadway and airport construction projects. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, coordinating crews, and ensuring projects are completed safely and on time. Foremen are expected to lead by example, work alongside their crew when needed, and maintain strong communication with project managers, office staff, and clients.

Essential Functions

• Perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 75 lbs, bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions and around dust, noise, and equipment.
• Operate trucks with trailers, construction equipment, and tools.
• Use and maintain PPE (hard hat, safety vest, eye protection, etc.).
• Assist with hands-on work including sealing, concrete repair, and equipment operation as needed.
