Curtin Co seeks a Foreman in Raleigh, North Carolina, to manage critical infrastructure projects in the Southeast. This role focuses on heavy highway construction, including concrete barrier installation and coordination with crew and superintendents.
Ideal candidates should have construction experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to adapt to variable schedules. The position necessitates weekly regional travel and prioritizes safety and effective team management.
The Foreman position works on critical infrastructure projects throughout the Southeast. These projects include installing temporary concrete barriers, temporary impact attenuators, temporary glare screens, quick-move barriers, permanent impact attenuators, permanent barrier gates, single-faced barriers, shoulder drain installation, and concrete rehab. The Foreman is required to manage the work as scheduled to meet the Contractor’s requirements & follow all DOT standards. All work is related to heavy highway construction projects, specializing in the placement of concrete safety barriers, installation of shoulder drains, or concrete slab replacement. All foremen have a Superintendent they report to daily. The superintendent will set their weekly schedule & direct scopes of work on the upcoming schedule. This position is ideal for candidates with road construction experience to include asphalt paving; installation of traffic control devices; barrier walls, and lane closures. This position requires regional and overnight travel on a weekly basis. The Foreman is assigned a company vehicle (transports crew and equipment) - must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
