Job summary

ITG Communications, LLC is seeking a Construction Foreman to supervise daily field crews on fiber, utility, or underground construction sites. You will ensure work is safe, efficient, and compliant with project specs, acting as the on-site lead and coordinating with the Project Manager and inspectors.

You’ll assign tasks, monitor productivity, conduct safety briefings, and mentor junior crew members while maintaining quality and timelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 3+ years in construction or utility field.
• Knowledge of fiber, telecom, or underground construction methods.
• Strong communication and crew management skills.

This role ensures all work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications. The Foreman serves as the primary on-site leader, providing direction to crews, supporting field operations, and maintaining project quality and timelines.

Requirements

Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience

Exposure

• Internal: Works closely with field teams, project managers, and operations supervisors
• External: May interface with inspectors, subcontractors, or property representatives
• Full-time presence on job sites; exposed to construction conditions and weather

• Crew Leadership: Drives productivity, safety, and morale on the front line
• Operational Awareness: Understands project expectations and adjusts field execution accordingly
• Job Site Ownership: Takes responsibility for quality and efficiency on assigned work sites

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, and lift up to 75 lbs
• Comfortable working in outdoor and high-activity environments
• Manual dexterity for tool handling and basic equipment operation
• Visual and auditory acuity for monitoring crews and identifying hazards
