Job summary

Performance Energy Services, LLC is seeking a Foreman in Gray, LA to supervise crews, ensure top-quality workmanship, and maintain safety and efficiency on on-site projects in the oil & gas sector.

The role requires strong leadership, collaboration with the Superintendent, and the ability to read blueprints, coordinate resources, and manage schedules. Candidates should have 5+ years in oil & gas and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent education.
• 5+ years working within the Oil & Gas Industry preferred.
• Basic written and verbal skills.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical skills.
• Experience in Adobe, Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook.
• Excellent organizational skills; able to work in a fast-paced environment with integrity.
• For new hires, must meet all Performance Energy Services employment qualifications, including background check and pre-employment drug screen.
• For new hires, must complete all required training by Performance Energy Services.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team by training, developing and coaching employees on a consistent basis.
• Assist the Superintendent with activities of business and departments concerned with the distribution of company products and services.
• Read and understand specifications such as blueprints and data to determine specific requirements.
• Coordinate the movement of goods and services in and out of production facilities.
• Discuss with staff and workers to address questions, problems and requests for service and/or equipment.
• Monitor personnel and/or equipment locations and utilization in order to coordinate service and schedules.
• Receive/prepare work orders and determine types or amounts of equipment, materials or personnel required to work orders or specifications.
• Ensure that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed.
• Obey and follow all safety rules and policies.
• Wear all appropriate safety equipment (PPE).
• Perform all other duties as assigned by manager and/or supervisor.

POSITION SUMMARY

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years working within the Oil & Gas Industry preferred
• Basic written and verbal skills

• Experience in Adobe, Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook
• Must have excellent organizational skills, ability to work in a fast paced environment under pressure, maintain honesty and integrity and have great time mangement skills
