Fairhaven,MA, US
Experience: Mid Level
Salary: $35 - $50 per hour
You arrive at the site ahead of the crew to review the day's install plan and flag anything that looks off in the schematics. Through the morning, you're doing the most technically demanding parts of the install yourself while directing the rest of the crew on sequencing. When a technician runs into a tricky alignment issue, you walk over, diagnose it, and use it as a teaching moment. By the end of the day, you're signing off on the completed work, logging any deviations from plan, and briefing the Service Manager on tomorrow's job.
Foremen with strong leadership track records are well-positioned to move into a Service Manager role, given the crew-leadership and quality-oversight experience this seat builds.
You've already mastered the tools - now put your name on the crew's work and mentor the next generation of technicians.
Our client is a motivated, fast-growing team specializing in installing, repairing, and maintaining overhead doors and related systems across commercial and construction sites, with a reputation built on craftsmanship and getting the details right.
Experienced, certified, or lead/foreman-level technicians - and those in higher cost-of-living Northeast metro markets - can reach $35-$40+/hr.
Overtime is 1.5x after 40 hours (some locations apply overtime after 8:00 PM) emergency service calls are paid from call-start until the technician returns home, and on-call rotates among the team.
