Job summary

McCalla Raymer Leibert Pierce, LLP seeks an experienced litigation attorney to represent mortgage servicers and investors in residential and commercial foreclosure, title and real estate matters. The role involves court appearances, case strategy, motions, discovery, and negotiations, with flexibility for in-office, hybrid, or remote work based on qualifications.

Candidates should have a J.D., PA bar, and at least 5 years of relevant litigation experience, with strong writing and oral advocacy

Qualifications

• J.D. degree and bar license in good standing in Pennsylvania required.
• Bar license in New Jersey, New York and/or Connecticut not required but a plus.
• Minimum 5 years relevant litigation experience preferred but lesser experience may be considered for otherwise qualified candidates.
• Working knowledge and experience with Pennsylvania Mortgage Foreclosure Law and practice is required.

Responsibilities

• Represent mortgage servicer and investor clients in residential and commercial foreclosure, title and general real estate litigation.
• Make appearances in state and federal court for hearings, trials and appeals.
• Review litigation, develop case strategy, and draft motions, pleadings and discovery requests.
• Communicate with clients and support staff to ensure quality representation and reporting.
• Create matter budgets and track billable and non-billable time.
