Job summary

Friedman Vartolo LLP in Stamford, CT is seeking an experienced Foreclosure Paralegal to join our rapidly growing team. You will manage foreclosure from referral through conclusion, coordinate title work, obtain payoffs, handle deeds and assignments, and provide timely updates and responsive communication to clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of foreclosure experience.
• Broad knowledge of real estate default services.
• Experience with LPS, Caseaware, Tempo or similar systems is a plus.
• Strong drafting, research, and writing skills.
• Detail oriented with excellent organization.
• Independent worker who can manage heavy workload.
• Confident on the phone and communicates clearly.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Draft documents such as motions, pleadings, correspondence, and other legal documents.
• E-filing with various court systems.
• Document recording.
• Maintain client and case files.
• Correspond with and update clients.
• Maintain filing/document system.
• Organize and maintain the group's calendars, provide & adhere to legal deadlines.
• Organize and archive documents related to completed and ongoing litigations.
• Prepare reports for attorneys.

The Position

Friedman Vartolo LLP is seeking experienced Foreclosure Paralegal to join our rapidly growing team. We're looking for bright, enthusiastic individuals, who will bring a strong work ethic and eagerness to grow alongside the firm.

The ideal candidate will have a broad range of foreclosure experience including, but not limited to managing foreclosure from referral through conclusion, ordering title, obtaining payoffs, deed, assignment and letter preparation, meeting time sensitive deadlines, providing updates and timely responses to clients, etc.

Responsibilities

• Draft documents such as motions, pleadings, correspondence, and other legal documents.

• Maintain filing/document system.

Requirements
